January, 2012
Dr. Richardson attended the Seattle Study Club annual Symposium. He received 31 hours of continuing education credit on topics related to bone and soft tissue grafting techniques, implant procedures and patient treament planning. Drs. Darab and Richardson are co-directors of the Foothills Dental Continuum which is a branch of the Seattle Study Club organization. It is comprised of 25 local dentists and dental specialists who meet monthly to discuss patient treatment planning and current trends in dental care.

Dr. Paul Richardson attended the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology's, " General Anesthesia/Deep Sedation Provider Review Course". This is the definitive review course for current trends and techniques in delivering anesthesia for dental patients. He received 15 hours of continuing education credit. Attending this course is a great way to ensure that our patients are receiving the safest and most comfortable anesthesia for their wisdom teeth and dental implant procedures.

Deedee Richardson, R.N. attended the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology's, "General Anesthesia/Deep Sedation Provider Course". She received 15 hours of continuing education related to current trends in deep sedation and management of anesthesia emergencies. As the registered nurse for Drs. Darab and Richardson, she assists in our IV anesthesia procedures and recovery of sedated patients. We are one of the few practices in our area to utilize RN for anesthesia services. This provides a higher level of care for our patients.

Drs. Darab and Richardson, along the Biomet 3i, sponsored Dr. Pamela Doray, Professor of Prosthodontics at The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine for an even lecture on: New Advances in Digital Dentistry.

Dr. David Darab completed his Re certification for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Diplomats of the American Board are required to complete the re-certification process every 10 years. Successful completion demonstrates Dr. Darab's current knowledge and skills to provide the highest standard of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Care.

Drs. Darab and Richardson sponsored Dr. Sam Strong who presented an all day symposium on Implant Treatment to Replace Missing Teeth with Bridges, Partials and Dentures.

Dr. David Darab attended the 11th Annual Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Review Course presented by the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
